What is in the box?

Today we wrote fun poems about living things. We had to use an adjective, noun and verb in every sentence. Here is my published poem.

yellow colour poem

For writing this week we wrote colour poems. I had to make a yellow poem
for our house group. Here it is.

Environmental writing

We sketched our bean plants that we grew in class. We then wrote words around the outside to describe the bean plant. We had to use these words to write a piece of descriptive writing. We then cut out our picture and glued it on to your writing. Here is my writing.

Greats and Grands Day

Last week we had our Greats and Grands day. We wrote poems for our grandparents. Here is my poem about why my grandparents are so special.

My poppa buys me drinks and lollies.

He takes me to the park with Dominos.

Every Friday my poppa gets me Dominos and McDonalds
with my cousin, it is a girl we play on the park together,
on the swing.

Normally my poppa always comes to my house to visit me
and my mum.

Procedural Writing - Fortnite

In class, we have been learning to do procedural writing. This is my writing about how to play Fortnite.

Fortnite Rules

Equipment

I’m going to have to have  a ps4 Tv wifi power and controller charger.

Rules

Before you start, you have to make sure that the TV and PS4 are all connected to the power and WiFi.

First rule to play fortnite you just have to click x on the game to play if it says press x again and again then when your in you just have to press triangle then you’re ready.

When you get put in a game, you place your marker down then when you’re near your destiny you jump out of the battle bus then you skydive to your marker. You land on a house and break the house. When you see a chest, you open it and you get a gun and get a kill with a scar, a heavy shotgun and a rocket launcher. If you have  43 kills you’re like a ninja. When the storm comes in, it takes your health down and it only takes 1 damage then if there’s 1 person left and you killed him and you got a Victory royale, you are the winner and you just dance like doing the floss.

Golf

We have been learning about our golf swing .It starts as a y and goes to a l.

I liked making Mr Golf do ten push ups.

I am good at whacking the ball in the sky.

I need to work on not going out of the circle.

Pou

It is tall . has one big blue hat. In the middle of the pou is lots of flax at the
like a smelly sock letting me felt it’s hiar .the pou has colourful eyes it felt funny

animal town

This week we have used another picture as motivation for our writing. We had a story starter and then we had to carry on the story.

What I like about my writing is full stop.

I need to improve on not forgetting about capital letters

Here is my writing about Animal Town.

It feels good to be in animal town, but what does it look like? There's 8 animals on each side. These animals look nice to me, but why do they call it animal town? The lion looks weird lying on the roof. How could a giraffe fit in the van? The bird is colourful. It has blue, gold, black and shiny orange on the front of it. The granny koala hiding in the tree, climbing all the way up. It actually is a nice town after all. The sad zebra was walking sadly across the road and the animals were staring at it. I felt sad for it. The gorilla is sitting on the striped green chair, the possums were staring at the animals looking for a drive around. They are all colourful. The animals are under the Lions command.

The muscly gorilla and the fat bear are sitting in the yellow van.

Hot Air Balloon race

This week we have used a picture as motivation for our writing. We had a story starter and then we had to carry on the story. What I like about my writing is the capital letters and full stops that I used.

I need to improve on using only one space instead of 2. We also made a google draw showing the things that we would take with us in on the balloon.

Bang! Bang! I got up and I packed my lunch. I put in Doritos chips, milk and a torchlight. I took Tyrell and Joel with me as my crew. When we were in the shiny, fluffy clouds, I almost got cloud sick. I was up high. We had to go around the whole world to Kerikeri and back. I was afraid of heights. I was too high up in the sky. I wanted to get all the money but I didn't win so the winning  crew shared the money with me. We all bought something. The other crew was nice to me and my crew.
